Repeat Prescriptions
Routine regular repeat prescriptions should be ordered using the prescription request slip giving our Receptionists at least 48 HOURS NOTICE, Monday - Friday.
Please remember that the Pharmacy will also normally need up to 48 hours (Monday-Friday) to make up your prescription.
Request slips can be handed in to the Practice during opening hours, posted in the health centre post box or left in Tarbert Pharmacy.
Alternatively you can email your request to nhsh.tarbertmedicalpractice@nhs.scot or register for our online services and order via the link at the top of this page.
Please note that we cannot handle telephone requests for prescriptions due to both the risk of error and staff/telephone time constraints.
The prescription is normally passed to the Tarbert Pharmacy, from where the medication can be collected. If you prefer to collect the prescription from the health centre please indicate this on the form.
Medication Reviews
Everyone receiving repeat prescriptions will be asked to attend for a medication review at least annually. Notification of this is given on the repeat prescription request slip. This review will be carried out by the GP, Practice nurse or clinical pharmacist as appropriate.
